However, a source has even revealed that the late Queen saw both Harry and William \u201ceven after the estrangement.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the late Queen Elizabeth\u2019s 100th birthday soon approaching on April 21, royal experts are reflecting on how the late monarch would have reacted to the ongoing feud between Prince Harry and Prince William. A source close to the palace told PEOPLE<\/a> that the late monarch might have offered her support behind the scenes if she were still alive, since \u201cShe saw both of them, even after the estrangement.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The source further added that the late Queen<\/a> \u201calso believed that you might have views, but you don\u2019t have sides. She knew that families are complicated.\u201d Even a former press secretary to the Queen, Ailsa Anderson, believes that \u201cIt\u2019s very difficult\u201d as William and Harry are the only \u201ctwo people who can mend this are themselves.\u201d Though Anderson believes if the late Queen were alive, \u201cshe could have been the convener,\u201d but the brothers \u201chave to take the first steps.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, after looking at how Harry\u2019s relationship with his father, King Charles, and the rest of the royal family has undergone changes over the past few years. This developed particularly after the publication of his book \u201cSpare,\u201d various high-profile interviews, and the release of a Netflix series. <\/p>\n

Now, Anderson thinks there is resilience in the surviving royals.
