It\u2019s designed to be accessible.\u00a0Welcoming. A proper football culture drop-in, and unlike much of the World Cup in the United States\u2026free!<\/p>\n
While host committees across the U.S. are busy figuring out how to monetise every square inch of public enthusiasm, from ticketed fan zones, VIP-this and premium-that, the Germans are building something that actually feels like football.<\/p>\n
Three zones. A matchday area where you can watch games and talk about the beautiful game. A gallery that celebrates history, culture, identity, and a business lounge.<\/p>\n
This is where the contrast gets uncomfortable.<\/p>\n
Because while one federation is investing in\u00a0experience, many U.S. host cities seem focused on extracting\u00a0value. From fans, tourists or anyone within a five-mile radius of a screen showing a match.<\/p>\n
