Queen Elizabeth II reportedly made fun of Donald Trump\u2019<\/a>s wife, First Lady Melania Trump, according to the book The Queen and Her Presidents, by Susan Page. The Queen met with Trump and his wife at Windsor Castle in July 2018, during his first term. At that time, Trump publicly praised the monarch.<\/p>\n

According to a report by Page Six<\/a>, the author of the book The Queen and Her Presidents, Susan Page, recently claimed in her book that Queen Elizabeth joked about Donald Trump\u2019s wife, Melania, after their meeting.<\/p>\n

The report states that the Queen described Melania as \u201csilent and remote.\u201d She also allegedly compared the First Lady to the late actress Greta Garbo and once said the actress\u2019s line \u201cI want to be alone\u201d in reference to Melania. Trump and Queen Elizabeth met again in June 2019 during a formal state visit.<\/p>\n

Following the Queen\u2019s passing, Trump wrote on Truth Social that he and the First Lady were \u201csaddened\u201d to hear the news. He went on to express his admiration for the Queen\u2019s leadership skills and added that he and Melania will cherish the meetings that happened with the monarch and will always remember \u201cHer Majesty\u2019s generous friendship, great wisdom, and wonderful sense of humor.\u201d (via The New York Post<\/a>)<\/p>\n

Reports also state that the book claims that Trump, on many occasions, tried to know the Queen\u2019s reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan leaving the Royal Family. According to a report by Sky News<\/a>, Trump told the author, \u201cI asked her about it constantly. She would always say, \u2018No, no, would be lovely, lovely.\u2019 But it wasn\u2019t lovely, and I think it hurt her.
