Cord Meyer Development will serve as the Premier Sponsor of Friends of Crocheron & John Golden Park for the fifth consecutive year, con\u00adtinuing its support of the 63-acre park and the vol\u00adunteer organization that helps steward it. The announcement was made by Friends Founding President Jessica Burke and Cord Meyer Vice President and Bay Terrace Project Lead Joe For\u00adgione.<\/p>\n

We look forward to kicking off another year together at the Cord Meyer Park Cleanup on April 25.\u201d<\/p>\n

Open to all, the cleanup will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with participants meeting at the Tennis Court House at 215th Place and 33rd Road. The event includes free T-shirts and re\u00adfreshments for volunteers. Advance registration is encouraged at www.crocheronpark.org\/vol-regis\u00adtration.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1904, Cord Meyer Development is a Queens real estate owner and developer whose Bay Terrace Shopping Center is located less than one mile from Crocheron Park. The company recently announced plans for a new rental community at the center, to be built on un\u00adderutilized upper-level parking areas off 26th Av\u00adenue.<\/p>\n

According to Forgione, construction is ex\u00adpected to continue for approximately two years, with the center remaining open for business throughout. Visitors to upper-level tenants AMC, PM Pediatrics, Mito, and Five Guys are directed to use the shopping center\u2019s main entrance on Bell Boulevard and proceed directly to the parking garage.<\/p>\n
