\u201cOne of the New York Botanical Garden\u2019s employees was getting sexually harassed so much every time he showed up on their account that the NYBG has turned off comments,\u201d\u00a0revealed a whistleblower<\/a>\u00a0on X alongside video-proof of the Bronx-based establishment\u2019s restricted TikTok comments section.\u00a0<\/p>\n The living museum has, too,\u00a0disabled commenting\u00a0<\/a>beneath Instagram footage of Elliott, an associate curator, spotlighting its cherry blossoms, video that\u2019s garnered over 101,000 views. Guardrails have also been placed on a separate post, which has amassed more than 99,000 views, featuring the flower-whisperer and bushels of snowdrop blooms.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n Representatives for the New York Botanical Garden, as well as Chris Elliott himself, were not immediately available to respond to The Post\u2019s request for a comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n Still, screenshots of the lusty filtrations and adulations being hurled his way online \u2014 just before NYBG closed the virtual floodgates \u2014 speak for themselves.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no way that man is single,\u201d fawned a fan beneath a clip of Elliott, wearing a super snug pair of jeans and a sweatshirt.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWell, hello Chris,\u201d howled another hot-to-trot onlooker, punctuating their fondness for the chap with a set of gawking emoji eyes.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cBabe, YOU\u2019RE one of my favorite orchids,\u201d catcalled another.\u00a0<\/p>\n An alarmed X user labeled the attention that Elliott has garnered as \u201csexual harassment,\u201d and applauded the New York Botanical Garden for disabling their social media comment sections. x.com\/moorehn<\/p>\n The X user, who originally called out the questionable comments, posted a follow-up tweet applauding NYBG for putting an end to the hooting, conceded that the messages were \u201cMostly polite, but some not, and NONE about actual flowers he was talking about.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m glad they decided to discourage this and keep him safe online by closing comments,\u201d continued the concerned tipster. \u201cHe\u2019s just trying to do his job.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s the curse of attractiveness.
