Marguart.<\/p>\n<p>NYS Investigators have\u00a0continued to actively renew evidence and pursue leads\u00a0in an effort to bring justice to Marquart and his family.<\/p>\n<p>Asking The Public For Help<\/p>\n<p>New York State Police are asking the public to look at a composite sketch that was developed in 1980 of a person of interest believed to be connected to this case, and is described as a white male who would\u2019ve been in his 20s or 30s, 5\u2019 10\u201d in height, and between 140 and 160 pounds\u00a0at that time period. Contact the New York State Police at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/wnbf.com\/new-york-police-public-assistance\/tel:(607)561-7400\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">(607)561-7400<\/a>\u00a0and ask to leave a message with the Major Crimes Department.<\/p>\n<p>Background On This Unsolved Case<\/p>\n<p>The report from the New York State Police gave some background information on Barry Marquart; he was a Oneonta native who was reported missing on November 9th, 1980, by his father.
