On Monday, Oct. 27, the 13-year-old daughter of Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> and Jay-Z<\/a> arrived at the 27th Annual Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Her grandmother, Tina Knowles<\/a>, was a guest of honor<\/a> at the black-tie event.<\/p>\n The famous teen wore a pastel pink silk gown and a corset bodice at the top for the event, which raises funds for cancer research.<\/p>\n Blue Ivy kept covered with feathered sleeves in a lighter shade of pink.<\/p>\n BACKGRID<\/p>\n Blue Ivy Carter on Oct. 27<\/p>\n Blue Ivy skipped the red carpet where Knowles, 71, posed for photos, along with Destiny\u2019s Child member Michelle Williams<\/a>. However, Blue Ivy still flashed a smile for the paparazzi as she made her way into the building.<\/p>\n The teen, who wowed fans onstage during her mother\u2019s Cowboy Carter tou<\/a>r, wore her hair in curly, blonde braids.<\/p>\n For makeup, she went for a natural glam look, and accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings as well as a silver evening bag.<\/p>\n Earlier in the day, Knowles spoke with Sherri Shepherd<\/a> on the Sherri<\/a> show, and praised Blue Ivy for performing onstage with her mother in front of crowds of 70,000 people per night.<\/p>\n “Because you have to be taught that. Kids don\u2019t learn it from just accident. You have to say to them, \u2018It\u2019s more important to be a good person.\u2019 And that you got to work for what you get,” she told Shepherd<\/a>, 58. “Nobody\u2019s going to just hand it to you because you are somebody\u2019s daughter or because they like you. You have to work hard.”<\/p>\n Before Cowboy Carter, Blue Ivy also performed on Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Renaissance World Tour<\/a>, and has become a staple in the Grammy winner\u2019s stage productions, like joining her mom as a dancer for her NFL Christmas Day halftime show<\/a>.<\/p>\n She also lent her vocals to 2019’s “Brown Skin Girl.”<\/p>\n After learning a thing or two about the industry, Knowles said Blue Ivy was able to give her younger sister Rumi<\/a> advice for joining the \u201cTexas Hold \u2018Em\u201d singer in front of fans.<\/p>\n Mason Poole via PictureGroup\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n Blue Ivy Carter, Rumi Carter, Beyonc\u00e9 Knowles-Carter and Tina Knowles<\/p>\n Knowles said the 8-year-old had been \u201casking for the last three or four years\u201d to join Beyonc\u00e9 and Blue Ivy onstage before she made her debut for Cowboy Carter.<\/p>\n “And listen, she would come out, and the first night, she was so excited. People were making all these crazy comments. You could pick them out. Ty [Hunter]<\/a> would come and she\u2019d be like, \u2018No, I don\u2019t like that.
