The festival returns May 28 and includes an American opera showcase with New York City Opera, a special concert for America\u2019s birthday with Carnegie Hall, first-ever Brass and Choir Festivals, as well as performances by artists from around the globe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn total, 24 performances will span music, dance, opera, circus, and more, culminating in a special anniversary tribute concert on September 11. With more than 87,000 in-person attendees and over 440,000 livestream views in past seasons, Picnic Performances remains a New York City summer tradition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/bryant-park\/\" id=\"auto-tag_bryant-park\" data-tag=\"bryant-park\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bryant Park<\/a> Picnic Performances presented by Bank of America is a gateway to the city\u2019s vibrant cultural scene,\u201d says Bryant Park\u2019s Dan Biederman. \u201cMany visitors arrive having never seen professional opera singers, ballet, or a circus before.
