\n\tVictoria Beckham<\/a> is keeping her cards close to her chest when it comes to her estranged son, Brooklyn Beckham<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tAlmost three months after Brooklyn confirmed an ongoing feud<\/a> with his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, via a scathing Instagram statement, his fashion designer mom was asked about her eldest son in a profile with the Wall Street Journal<\/a> published on April 16. However, Victoria is not matching the level of transparency Brooklyn exhibited in his viral post. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think that we\u2019ve always \u2014 we love our children so much,\u201d Victoria responded when asked about the 27-year-old.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe\u2019ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd you know, we\u2019ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we\u2019ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that\u2019s all I really want to say about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tVictoria, who also shares adult sons Romeo and Cruz<\/a> and 14-year-old daughter Harper with David, added that they \u201ctrying to do the best [they] can\u201d with parenting their kids into adulthood.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBeing a parent of young adult children and adult children, gosh, I mean, it\u2019s very different from having little children,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

\n\tVictoria and David have not directly responded to their son airing their feud in public, and even appeared to extend an olive branch in March when both parents shared childhood photos of Brooklyn on their Instagram Stories for his birthday<\/a>. \u201cHappy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,\u201d Victoria wrote in her post.<\/p>\n

\n\tBrooklyn, however, made his feelings clear back in January when he wrote that he has no desire \u201cto reconcile\u201d with his family after years of speculation that their relationship has been on the rocks due to his marriage to Nicola Peltz<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn the statement, Brooklyn accused his family of trying to \u201cruin\u201d his relationship and called the media narrative that claims Nicola \u201ccontrols him,\u201d \u201ccompletely backwards,\u201d claiming he has been \u201ccontrolled by my parents for most of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,\u201d Brooklyn wrote. \u201cUnfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.\u201d<\/p>\n
