NYC Health + Hospitals\/Gotham Health announced that a state-of-the-art 3D mammogram machine, which provides cutting-edge breast cancer detection and a more comfortable experience for patients, is now available at Gotham Health, Sydenham.\u00a0 Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women, and early detection is crucial. Gotham Health, Sydenham, now offers 3D mammography, also known as Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT), which provides clearer, layer-by-layer images, allowing for higher cancer detection rates, particularly in patients with dense breast tissue. 3D mammography significantly reduces false positives (unnecessary callbacks) and is more accurate in detecting smaller, early-stage invasive cancers.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
