QUEENS, New York (WABC) — An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was fatally shot at a park in Queens on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Fire officials say they received a report of a person shot at Baisley and Merrick boulevards around 6:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

A 15-year-old boy was taken to Jamaica Medical Center, where he later died, according to police.<\/p>\n

No further details have been provided.<\/p>\n

The deadly shooting comes less than 24 hours after another 15-year-old boy was killed during a separate shooting at Eisenhower Park<\/a> in Nassau County on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Authorities say it happened at a barbecue designed to attract members of the Bloods gang, an event which was advertised on social media.<\/p>\n
