The gun-toting goon charged with fatally shooting a 7-month-old Brooklyn girl<\/a> claimed he was just meeting a friend when he \u201cfell off\u201d his moped \u2014 as his alleged getaway driver whined about getting dragged into \u201cstupid s\u2013t\u201d after his arrest, new court documents reveal.<\/p>\n

Accused gunman Amuri Greene, 21, insisted that he was simply \u201cdriving around\u201d \u2014 not pulling the trigger \u2014 when little Kaori Patterson-Moore was struck in the head by a stray bullet while in her stroller in Williamsburg earlier this month, the filing shows.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was meeting my friend,\u201d Greene allegedly told an EMS worker inside an ambulance following the April 1 shooting that left the baby dead and caused her 2-year-old brother to get grazed by a bullet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI fell of my moped,\u201d he said, according to the document filed by the Brooklyn District Attorney\u2019s Office<\/p>\n

Seven-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore was killed in the heinous shooting.<\/p>\n

Authorities have said Greene opened fire from the back of the motorized scooter, into a crowd near Humboldt and Moore Streets at around 1:20 p.m. His alleged accomplice, Matthew Rodriguez, wrecked the moped two blocks away, with the mishap sending Greene to the hospital.<\/p>\n

Greene, who was arrested later at the hospital, claimed he didn\u2019t remember his date of birth or even his name \u2014 but admitted to cops that he was on the back of the bike and later identified himself from a photo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just drove, I promise you, I was just riding around cuz what just happened,\u201d Greene allegedly told officers, while also claiming that he had been fired at by a \u201crapper\u201d near the Marcy Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant a week before the fatal shooting.<\/p>\n

The new details surrounding the tragedy come as both Greene and Rodriguez, 18, were arraigned this week<\/a> on a 17-count indictment charging them with murder, assault and other counts.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement sources have said that the duo were allegedly targeting the baby\u2019s father, Jamari Patterson, over a drill rap beef<\/a> between dueling gangs at the Marcy Houses and the nearby Bushwick Houses.<\/p>\n

Heart-breaking surveillance video showed distraught mom Lianna Moore screaming when she saw her wounded baby, who had just started to say \u201cmama,\u201d according to her family.<\/p>\n

18-year-old Mathew Rodriguez was the driver in the alleged shooting, according to prosecutors. Obtained by NY Post<\/p>\n

Rodriguez, who fled to Pennsylvania before being picked up by US Marshals and extradited back to Brooklyn, whined to reporters Monday that he was innocent and that he had no clue the shooting was \u201cgoing to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

While in custody in Creco, PA., Rodriguez appeared to have an existential crisis in front of a US Marshals officer when he seemingly began questioning his decisions, the court docs show.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy do I keep getting dragged into stupid s\u2013t,\u201d Rodriguez allegedly said to authorities on April 3. \u201cOh my God, how do I get myself dragged into this stupid s\u2013t.\u201d<\/p>\n
