Victoria Beckham has broken her silence \u2013 obliquely \u2013 on the long-simmering feud she and husband David have had with their eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.<\/p>\n
The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer, 51, told WSJ. Magazine she\u2019s a \u201creformed control freak\u201d and \u201cbeing a parent of young adult children and adult children \u2026 (is) very different from having little children.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that we\u2019re trying to do the best we can,\u201d said Beckham<\/a>, who with the 50-year-old soccer star shares three other kids aged 14 to 23<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe love our children so much,\u201d said Posh. \u201cWe\u2019ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we\u2019ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we\u2019ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that\u2019s all I really want to say about it.\u201d<\/p>\n Brooklyn in January slammed the \u201cbackwards\u201d speculation that he\u2019s controlled by his wife<\/a>, the 31-year-old daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI have been controlled by my parents for most of my life,\u201d said Brooklyn, who accused his folks of pulling out all the stops \u201cto preserve their own facade.\u201d<\/p>\n
