\n\tVictoria Beckham<\/a> has spoken out for the first time since her son Brooklyn Beckham\u2019s estrangement from the family.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview with The Wall Street Journal <\/a>published on Thursday morning, Beckham defends herself and husband David Beckham<\/a> against accusations of trying to \u201ccontrol the narratives\u201d around Brooklyn\u2019s life and \u201ctrying endlessly to ruin\u201d his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz. \u201cI think that we\u2019ve always \u2014 we love our children so much,\u201d she said when asked about the relationship with her children. \u201cWe\u2019ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we\u2019ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we\u2019ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that\u2019s all I really want to say about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAside from Brooklyn, the Beckhams share three other children \u2014 Romeo, Cruz and Harper \u2014 who have stayed out of the family feud, and seemingly still have a relationship with their parents. Brooklyn, meanwhile, has been estranged from them for roughly three years.<\/p>\n

\n\tTheir feud was the focus of tabloid gossip for much of 2025 but reached a boiling point late last year after his wedding. In an Instagram story this past January,<\/a> he wrote that he does \u201cnot want to reconcile with my family.\u201d In the post, he accused his parents of putting \u201ccountless lies\u201d in the media about him and his family and described his relationship with his parents and siblings as \u201cinauthentic,\u201d buoyed by \u201cperformative social media posts\u201d and family events. He also claimed his parents tried everything they could to curb his relationship with Peltz. He said his mom \u201ccancelled making Nicola\u2019s dress in the eleventh hour\u201d and \u201cattempted to bribe\u201d him into signing away the rights to his name before he got married.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Victoria\u2019s interview with WSJ, she noted that the negative press hasn\u2019t affected her business.
