Police are looking for a suspect who assaulted a man on a Bronx bus.<\/p>\n

Police are investigating an assault in the Bronx that left a man injured earlier this month.\n<\/p>\n

Authorities say that at 3:06 p.m. on April 7, a 79-year-old man was riding a M4 MTA bus in the vicinity of Broadway and West 135 Street when he was approached by an unknown man.\n<\/p>\n

After starting a verbal dispute with the victim, the suspect proceeded to punch the victim multiple times in the face. The suspect also put his hand around the victim\u2019s neck.\n<\/p>\n

Following the altercation, the suspect fled the scene on foot heading northbound on Broadway toward West 136th Street. The victim was taken by EMS to New York-Presbyterian\/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in stable condition.<\/p>\n

The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion who was last seen wearing a black jacket, a gray sweater and a black Yankees hat.\n<\/p>\n
