NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) \u2014 A beloved New York City restaurant known for its juicy brisket and barbecue will serve its final plate this spring.<\/p>\n
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que broke the news on social media that its Gowanus location will close after 15 years.<\/p>\n
\u201cDinosaur Bar-B-Que Brooklyn has been more than just a restaurant. It\u2019s been a place for friends, families, first dates, celebrations, and plenty of unforgettable nights in Gowanus,\u201d the social media post said.<\/p>\n
The restaurant had reached the end of its lease, and the building is set to be demolished to make way for a new apartment building, according to the social post.<\/p>\n
