A source says the Mission: Impossible star, 63, is hoping to step in and be the hero by mediating a truce between Brooklyn Beckham and his estranged parents, David and Victoria Beckham.<\/p>\n

As the National Enquirer previously reported<\/a>, Brooklyn, 27, accused David, 50, and Victoria, 52, of being controlling and putting \u201cbrand Beckham\u201d first in a scathing Instagram Story posted on Monday, January 19. He also alleged that his parents \u201chave been trying endlessly to ruin\u201d his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz, 31.<\/p>\n

Cruise is also hoping that by helping heal the Beckham family rift, he can also strengthen his friendship with his old pal David in the process, the Enquirer\u2019s source reveals.<\/p>\n
