Nineteen percent said they would support State Assemblymember Alex Bores, followed by 14 percent for State Assemblymember Micah Lasher and 10 percent for prominent Trump critic and former lawyer George Conway. Notably, 28 percent of voters said they were unsure, suggesting that a sizable portion of the district’s constituents is still up for grabs. The poll, which was conducted on behalf of the Bores campaign, surveyed 404 likely Democratic primary voters from March 9 to 13, over a month ago.

Its findings line up with a group of polls from earlier this month that show Schlossberg out in front of more experienced politicians vying to represent the state’s 12th Congressional District, which spans midtown Manhattan as well as the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side. A poll fielded on behalf of the pro-AI super-PAC Leading the Future found Schlossberg with 23 percent of support, with Conway trailing in second with 13 percent, followed by 11 percent for Bores and 6 percent for Lasher. An internal poll from the Conway campaign also showed Schlossberg ahead with 28 percent, followed by Conway with 16 percent and Bores and Lasher both tied at 11 percent.

While things could still shift before the June 23 primary, Schlossberg would mark a significant shift for the district, whose seat, throughout its occasional redistricting reorganizing, has by and large been represented by long-standing incumbents. The 33-year-old is a descendent of one of the country’s oldest political dynasties, but he is new to politics and more likely known for his well-established presence on social media, where he holds 903,000 followers on Instagram.

The marquee House race has prompted several prominent political figures to weigh in on who should succeed Nadler.
