New releases \u201cRegretting You,\u201d a romantic comedy, and \u201cSpringsteen \u2014 Deliver Me from Nowhere&#8221; debuted with $12.85 million and $9.1 million respectively, while \u201cTron: Ares\u201d completed the top five with $4.9 million.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"3QJSKIQJPNF4VJTDLLUMAZX3FQ\">According to NBC News, this success follows another recent anime accomplishment. Less than two months ago, \u201cDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba \u2013 Infinity Castle\u201d set a new record for anime releases with a $70 million debut.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"3GOGOE3XC5C3BHZFX5XBE6DHAQ\">\u201cChainsaw Man\u201d is based on a popular manga series created by Tatsuki Fujimoto about a demon hunter whose arms and head transform into chainsaws. The self-contained story, described as part love story and part action adventure, was previously adapted as an anime series in 2022, the report said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"NSEWHJUTKNCTLNJENJAZPQ66M4\">The film is another win for Sony-owned Crunchyroll, which also distributed \u201cInfinity Castle\u201d last month.
