According to a statement from United, Flight 2092 was bound for New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Saturday morning when it was diverted to Pittsburgh after reports of a \u201cpotential security concern.\u201d<\/p>\n
Officials say the plane landed safely, and passengers and crew evacuated from the plane via slides on the tarmac. <\/p>\n
There were no injuries reported among the 159 passengers and six crew members onboard the plane, authorities said. <\/p>\n
NBC\u2019s Pittsburgh affiliate is reporting there were bomb-sniffing dogs and other emergency personnel on the tarmac investigating the plane, but there was no word on the specific nature of the \u201csecurity concern\u201d that caused the aircraft to land. <\/p>\n
