\n\tAnne Hathaway<\/a> traded her string of press tour heels<\/a> for a flatter, faster silhouette on Friday, wearing zebra print Adidas<\/a> Tokyo sneakers<\/a> while promoting \u201cThe Devil Wears Prada 2\u201d in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\tHathaway\u2019s pair came from Adidas<\/a>\u2019 Tokyo line in an off-white and core black color mix, built on the brand\u2019s slim retro runner shape. A black-and-cream zebra pattern covered the pony hair upper, while the brand\u2019s signature Three Stripes cut across each side. <\/p>\n

\n\tBlack laces, a padded collar, logo tongue patch and dark rubber sole kept the finish grounded. The low-profile build and elongated toe shape put the style closer to the current wave of archival-inspired trainers<\/a> than the bulkier sneaker market that dominated earlier in the decade.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cMother Mary\u201d star<\/a> paired the sneakers with a sleeveless dark brown, almost purple dress in a fluid mixed-fabric construction. The look featured a gathered neckline at the collarbone, layered asymmetric skirt panels and sheer banding near the hem, along with utility-style flap pockets at the hip. Hathaway finished the look with Blvgari sunglasses and a black Herm\u00e8s Togo Birkin.<\/p>\n

Lori Harvey<\/a> wore Ala\u00efa\u2019s leopard haircalf Criss-Cross ballet flats in Los Angeles last month, while Storm Reid<\/a> opted for Le Silla\u2019s leopard-print Clivage slingbacks just a few weeks later in New York. Hathaway brought that same print direction into a slimmer retro sneaker category, one less common than the tiger stripes and leopard spots that have dominated much of the trend.<\/p>\n
