BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (WABC) — A woman was fatally struck by a box truck while crossing the street in Bushwick on Friday morning, police say.<\/p>\n

Jenny Maribel Chacho Sanchez, 29, was using a crosswalk to cross Gates Avenue just before 8:30 a.m. when she was struck by a 2024 Freightliner being driven by a 49-year-old man, investigators say.<\/p>\n

Chacho Sanchez was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in critical condition and was pronounced deceased.<\/p>\n

There are no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
