{"id":202243,"date":"2026-04-19T01:03:36","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T01:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/202243\/"},"modified":"2026-04-19T01:03:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T01:03:36","slug":"crooks-carjack-toyota-corolla-from-women-in-brooklyn-lowes-parking-lot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/202243\/","title":{"rendered":"Crooks carjack Toyota Corolla from women in Brooklyn Lowe\u2019s parking lot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cops are hunting for a group of four men who heartlessly carjacked a vehicle from two women Wednesday at a Lowe\u2019s parking lot in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>A 72-year-old woman, who was sitting on her walker, and a 48-year-old woman were loading their new merchandise into their 2004 Toyota Corolla at the store\u2019s parking lot on Avenue U and E. 56th St. in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/2026\/02\/26\/man-73-knocked-unconscious-in-brooklyn-street-fight-dies-weeks-later-suspect-arrested-for-manslaughter\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mill Basin<\/a>\u00a0around 4:23 p.m., when one of the men hopped into the Corolla\u2019s driver\u2019s seat and began to drive off.<\/p>\n<p>In the process of stealing the vehicle, he struck both women, knocking the younger one to the pavement, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the men from the group took off in the Corolla while the fourth individual fled in a black Nissan. The value of the stolen goods was about $900.<\/p>\n<p>The victims sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The four suspects range in age from 18 to 20, cops said. No arrests have been made.
