Police in Queens are investigating after a man was found covered in blood inside a parked vehicle on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

According to law enforcement sources, a man of unknown age was spotted by a good Samaritan sitting in a brown Toyota minivan near the corner of 22nd Street and Queens Plaza North in Long Island City at around 10:10 a.m.<\/p>\n

The witnesses dialed 911, and when officers from the 114th Precinct<\/a> arrived, they smashed the vehicle\u2019s window in order to remove the individual.\n<\/p>\n

He was rushed by EMS to Cornell Hospital, where he was described as conscious and alert. He is expected to survive.\n<\/p>\n

Sources familiar with the incident report say the man is being uncooperative and won\u2019t tell police exactly what happened. Preliminarily, authorities believe he may have been involved in an altercation.<\/p>\n

Blood could be seen smeared over the driver\u2019s seat and door, and across the sidewalk and several white blankets. Blood even appeared to have dripped out of the car and onto the pavement.\n<\/p>\n

Sneakers and objects were also scattered around the ground. Inside the vehicle, more blood-covered and white towels could be observed.\n<\/p>\n

No arrests have been, and the investigation remains ongoing.\n<\/p>\n
