The reviews are rolling in for\u00a0Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of No\u00ebl Coward’s Fallen Angels<\/a>,\u00a0which\u00a0officially opened at the Todd Haimes Theatre on Broadway April 19 after beginning previews March 27. The limited engagement will continue through June 7.<\/p>\n

Fallen Angels follows two wealthy married women who, with husbands away, toast their pre-wedding loves\u2014who happen to be the same man, who’s on his way to visit. The work premiered in London in 1925, coming to Broadway in 1927. Early productions attracted the ire of censors, who objected to its shocking depiction of women acknowledging premarital sex.<\/p>\n

Starring Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You) as Jane Banbury and Tony winner Kelli O’Hara (The King and I) as Julia Sterroll, the leading pair are joined by Tracee Chimo (Noises Off) as Saunders, Mark Conseulos (Orphans) as Maurice Duclos, Christopher Fitzgerald (Waitress) as Willy Banbury, and Aasif Mandvi (The Daily Show) as Fred Sterroll. Casting is by Carrie Gardner, Stephen Kopel, and Jim Carnahan. <\/p>\n
