Victoria and David Beckham are desperate to reconcile with<\/a> estranged eldest son Brooklyn before he starts a family of his own with his wife of four years, Nicola Peltz.<\/p>\n

Friends say Posh, 52, and Becks, 51, are \u201cterrified\u201d they\u2019ll be shut out of their grandchildren\u2019s lives unless they can repair the ever-widening rift between them.<\/p>\n

Both Brooklyn, 27, and Nicola, 31, have long expressed their desire for multiple children \u2014 in 2022, Nicola told The Times, per New Idea<\/a>, \u201cWe definitely want a big family [and] we want to adopt some kids and have some of our own. That would be the dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn has even claimed he wants a \u201csoccer team\u201d of kids!<\/p>\n

The young couple is said to be actively trying to conceive, making a rapprochement with Brooklyn\u2019s family even more urgent.<\/p>\n

\u201cVictoria would love to be a grandmother one day, and it\u2019s beyond painful that Brooklyn could exclude her from that,\u201d a source said to New Idea.<\/p>\n

\u201cDavid is tormented by it too,\u201d the insider added. \u201cThey want this estrangement with Brooklyn to end, but the fear is they are running out of time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family feud has been brewing since even before Brooklyn and Nicola\u2019s wedding in 2022.<\/p>\n

As readers know, it was exacerbated when Brooklyn accused his parents on Instagram<\/a> of staging \u201cperformative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships.\u201d He claimed they placed \u201ccountless lies\u201d in the media \u201cto preserve\u201d their own reputations.<\/p>\n

He also accused them of trying to \u201cruin\u201d his marriage and made it clear he had \u201cno desire to reconcile\u201d with them and would only communicate with them through their lawyers.<\/p>\n

But despite his harsh words, \u201cBrooklyn\u2019s still their baby and they will never stop loving him,\u201d the source said to New Idea. \u201cIt will break Victoria\u2019s heart if she hears about her first grandchild from the press and not Brooklyn.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a source, Posh and Becks have offered to meet Brooklyn and Nicola in the presence of lawyers, a therapist, a mediator or even Nicola\u2019s parents or siblings \u2014 whatever it takes to repair the relationship.<\/p>\n
