He hails from Brooklyn and attended The Patrick School. Now, the 6-foot-8 forward returns to New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Sydnor did not play last season due to eligibility issues. He was named the MAAC Rookie of the Year in 2024-25 after making 29 starts for Manhattan. He averaged 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting 45.1% from the floor. Syudnor also shot 34.8% from three-point range. He will come to Rutgers with three years of eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Rutgers has now added four transfers this offseason.
