Queen’s Nest is a Faction Quest<\/a> that is part of the House Celeste category in Crimson Desert<\/a>. This side quest sends you to the abandoned Arboria Castle, now full of spiders. Get ready to liberate the castle and take on the boss Queen Spider in this quest. Follow our guide for tips and tricks to fighting the Queen Spider and for help completing Queen’s Nest.\n<\/p>\n

Queen’s Nest Walkthrough<\/p>\n

Head north-northwest of the town of Hernand, up to the Hills of No Return region. You’ll find the Arboria Castle here, where it’s full of spiders to slay. The quest objectives for Queen’s Next revolve around liberating the area and defeating the Queen Spider.\n<\/p>\n

As goes with liberating any location in Crimson Desert, slay enemies in that area until the progression bar drops to zero. In the case of Arboria Castle and the Queen’s Nest quest, you’ll also have to take out the boss here. When you first enter the castle, watch out for the little spiders that explode when close to you. You can either run near them and then flee to safety or hit them with ranged attacks.\n<\/p>\n

If you notice a bunch of notes and\/or purple notes on your minimap around the area, you can ignore those for now. These are for an upcoming quest to help you restart the factory.<\/p>\n

Once you’re ready to fight the Queen Spider, head into the center of the castle. Then, follow the objective up the stairs to the top. You’ll find a room here where the boss is lurking above. Shortly after entering the room, a quick cutscene will trigger where they drop down into view.\n<\/p>\n

Queen Spider Boss Tips and Tricks<\/p>\n

Fighting the Queen Spider boss can be frustrating for a couple of reasons, but there are some tricks. First, you’ll want to be aware of a bug that can happen where the small spiders are invincible. This makes the fight a bit annoying since the only way to kill them is to make them explode by going near them. Aside from that bug, here are a bunch of tips to help:<\/p>\n

Having a helmet with Daze Immunity may help when she screeches.You can cheese this fight by staying outside the door and hugging the wall. This is still inside the boss area.You can block the exploding spiders if you’re unable to get away easily.Nature’s Snare can block incoming projectiles. If you have the upgraded version, Nature’s Retribution, you can shoot those projectiles back.The overhang above you can block incoming projectiles depending on where the Queen Spider is on the wall.The webs around the room will slow you down if you step into them.The Queen Spider has a couple of combos while on the ground. She can do two short lunges back to back to bite you. Or she can leap toward you and slam down twice from above. If you have enough stamina, you can block these attacks. But you’re often better off doing a combination of blocking and dodging.<\/p>\n

A rumor around the Crimson Desert community was that the Wolf Tracker Leather Boots prevent poison during this fight, but this claim is false. While they can be useful for other situations, this is not one of them.<\/p>\n

Once you’ve defeated the Queen Spider and slain enough spiders to drop the Arboria Castle progression bar to zero, the Queen’s Nest quest is complete. This also simultaneously completes another one, Forsaken Factory. The next quest in the House Celeste chain is, Restarting the Elixir Factory.\n<\/p>\n
