Is former President Barack Obama<\/a> in training to become a grandpa? While his two daughters, Malia Obama (age 27) and Sasha Obama (age 24), aren\u2019t exactly ready to have kids anytime soon, their famous dad is enjoying some time with a younger set. Last week, Obama and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani visited a preschool in the Bronx, leading the kiddos in a rousing rendition of a classic childhood tune.<\/p>\n

Obama recently posted a pic of himself and Mamdani reading to the class, captioning the image, \u201cGreat spending time with New York City\u2019s Cutest. And thanks to @nycmayor for giving me an excuse to break out my best Wheels on the Bus.\u201d That\u2019s right, the political pair belted out Wheels on the Bus\u2026and fans are obsessed.<\/p>\n

While the former POTUS\u2019s post<\/a> didn\u2019t include video evidence of the absolutely amazing event, plenty of clips<\/a> surfaced. And if you haven\u2019t watched it yet, this is certainly something you can\u2019t miss. Obama gets down to business, rolling up his sleeves and joining Mamdani in the hand movements. Yes, the duo even does the whole, \u201cAnd the wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish\u201d while waving their hands back and forth.<\/p>\n

Following their rockstar moment, Obama and the Mayor read the children\u2019s book \u2018Alone & Together\u2019 by Emilie Chazerand and Amandine Piu to the young audience. The tale of friendship<\/a> and community was the perfect story for the pair to share with the preschoolers. But the fun didn\u2019t end there.<\/p>\n

Obama and Mamdani sat on the classroom\u2019s carpet with the kiddos and posed for a few group pics. After yelling, Cheese,\u201d the former President asked the children, \u201cWho\u2019s going to help me get up?\u201d And of course, everyone pitched in. The pair\u2019s new friends grabbed their hands and hoisted the two politicians onto their feet. Or at least, as much as four- and five-year-olds can.<\/p>\n

Fans flocked to Obama\u2019s Instagram post, praising the preschool adventure. One commenter wrote, \u201cThey\u2019re going to tell their grandchildren about this one, it is too iconic. Parents save those photos!\u201d while another said, \u201cLove this! Two amazing leaders!\u201d<\/p>\n

Mamdani also shared photos<\/a> of the day, adding the caption, \u201cToday, President Barack Obama and I read to a group of toddlers at Learning Through Play Pre-K Center in the South Bronx.\u201d NYC\u2019s mayor continued, \u201cIn between singing Wheels on the Bus, we discussed our administration\u2019s vision for this City\u2014one where New York\u2019s Cutest have the strongest start possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
