The original Broadway cast of Lempicka<\/a> will reunite at The Beechman this Pride Month.<\/p>\n

The short-lived 2024 musical explored the life and legacy of painter Tamara de Lempicka,\u00a0a Polish aristocrat-turned-artist who flees with her husband from the turmoil of the Russian Revolution for exile in Paris. Once there, Tamara meets her new muse, a woman named\u00a0Rafaela, and claws her way to success. The book, lyrics, and original concept are by Carson Kreitzer<\/a>, with Matt Gould co-writing the book and penning the music. <\/p>\n

The reunion will be held at The Beechman June 1, with a\u00a0portion of the evening\u2019s proceeds to be\u00a0donated to The Ali Forney Center, an NYC-based organization that provides support to members of the LGBTQIA+ youth. <\/p>\n

The reunion company will consist of Eden Espinosa<\/a> (Wicked), Natalie Joy Johnson<\/a> (Legally Blonde), Zoe Glick<\/a> (Frozen), Lauren Blackman<\/a> (Ragtime), Stephen Brower<\/a> (Anastasia), Holli\u2019 Conway (SIX), Abby Matsusaka<\/a> (Sunset Boulevard), Jimin Moon<\/a> (Aladdin), Ximonse Rose (Death Becomes Her), Nicholas Ward<\/a> (The Music Man), Veronica Fiaoni<\/a> (Beetlejuice), Michael Milkanin<\/a> (Chess), and Mary Page Nance<\/a> (A Beautiful Noise), all accompanied by Charity Wicks<\/a>. The evening will be produced by Emily Katherine and Layla Clarke of Dynamic Duo Cabarets.<\/p>\n
