\n\tThe Jaspers returned to North Philadelphia for the first time in nearly six years, and the first time since the Explorers’ baseball program was revived. Additionally, Manhattan faced former Head Coach Dave Miller, who is back at the helm of La Salle.
\n\tManhattan gained some traction in the third inning with a two-out Ryan Lordier<\/a> base knock to third base, before swiping second. Then, Guriyandel Salva<\/a> worked a walk, before both advanced to third on a wild pitch.
\n\tIn the sixth inning with two outs, Andreaus Lewis<\/a> smashed a solo home run to right field to get the Jaspers on the board.
\n\tIn the seventh inning with one out, Dylan Mayer<\/a> kick-started the engines with a single to center field, before Colin Basehore<\/a> got plunked by the opposing pitcher.
\n\tIt was the next batter in Jackson Babione<\/a>, who made waves, with a booming three-run home run to score Basehore and Mayer to cut its deficit to five.

\n\tRelief pitcher Matthew Steinberg<\/a> logged three innings of work, allowed three hits, surrendered three runs, two earned, two walks, and punched out a game-high three batters in 47 total pitches and 14 batters faced.
\n\tInfielder Jackson Babione<\/a> supplied the Green and White with a three-run home run in a 1-for-1 afternoon.
\n\tCatcher Andreaus Lewis<\/a> posted his seventh home run of the season in a 1-for-2 afternoon. Lewis also crossed the plate once, worked a walk, and struck out once.
