The final day of action across the league will determine Quinnipiac&#8217;s seeding in the upcoming MAAC Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>WEEKLY AWARDS&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;\n<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tQuinnipiac has captured four total MAAC weekly awards this season.&#13;<br \/>\n\tJunior\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/nate-watson\/15118\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nate Watson<\/a>\u00a0was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 9, 2026 following Quinnipiac&#8217;s season-opening win at UMass Lowell.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSenior goalie\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/evan-miner\/15105\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Evan Miner<\/a>\u00a0earned the league&#8217;s Defensive Player of the Week honors on April 6, 2026 after helping lead the Bobcats past nationally-ranked Sacred Heart.&#13;<br \/>\n\tBoth <a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/max-pauwels\/15110\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15110\" target=\"_blank\">Max Pauwels<\/a> (Faceoff Player of the Week) and <a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/duncan-zielke\/15121\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15121\" target=\"_blank\">Duncan Zielke<\/a> (Rookie of the Week) then captured league honors on April 20, 2026 following a road victory at Iona.\u00a0&#13;<\/p>\n<p>BALANCED ATTACK<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tSeven different Quinnipiac players have registered 10+ points already in 2026.&#13;<br \/>\n\tJunior <a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/nate-watson\/15118\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15118\" target=\"_blank\">Nate Watson<\/a> leads the Bobcats&#8217; offensive attack with 36 goals and 10 assists for 46 total points. He has 18 goals over six MAAC games.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/cole-marsala\/15102\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15102\" target=\"_blank\">Cole Marsala<\/a> ranks second on the team in scoring with 44 points via 23 goals and 21 helpers. Marsala recorded a team-high eight points during QU&#8217;s latest win vs. Iona.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/justin-robbert\/15114\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"15114\" target=\"_blank\">Justin Robbert<\/a> is up over 20 points for the season, as well, with 10 goals and 11 assists.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>MAN-UP ADVANTAGE<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tQuinnipiac leads the MAAC and ranks No. 3 nationally in man-up offense (57.9%). QU has scored on 11-of-19 opportunities on the advantage.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>CAUSED TURNOVERS<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Bobcats also lead the league in caused turnovers per game (9.31), a number that ranks No. 10 nationally.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>SCOUTING\u00a0MANHATTAN<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Jaspers enter at 3-10 (1-6 MAAC). Manhattan won its first league game at home against Canisius in its latest contest on April 18.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThomas White leads the team with 27 goals and 29 total points. White has nine goals over his last four games.&#13;<br \/>\n\tAiden Kane leads the team in assists with 12.&#13;<br \/>\n\tQuinnipiac is 11-5 vs. the Jaspers since 2000, though Manhattan has taken each of the last five matchups. \u00a0&#13;<\/p>\n<p>LAST TIME OUT: QU DOWNS IONA (4\/18)<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tQuinnipiac men&#8217;s lacrosse won its third consecutive MAAC game on Saturday, April 18, downing Iona by the final score of 19-7 from Mazzella Field.&#13;<br \/>\n\t19 goals marks a season-high total for Quinnipiac. The visitors led 9-5 in the first half, then QU won the second half 10-2.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Bobcats (4-3 MAAC) have now clinched a spot in the 2026 MAAC Men&#8217;s Lacrosse Championship.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/cole-marsala\/15102\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cole Marsala<\/a>\u00a0led the Bobcats with an 8-point day in the win. The junior scored three times and added five assists for QU.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/duncan-zielke\/15121\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Duncan Zielke<\/a>\u00a0added four goals and two helpers, while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/nate-watson\/15118\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nate Watson<\/a>\u00a0registered three goals and three assists.&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/max-pauwels\/15110\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Max Pauwels<\/a>\u00a0was dominant\u00a0at the faceoff x for the Bobcats, winning 13-of-17 attempts to help control possession.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>BOBCATS TABBED NO. 4 IN PRESEASON MAAC POLL<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Quinnipiac men&#8217;s lacrosse program has been tabbed No. 4 in the 2026 Men&#8217;s Lacrosse Preseason Coaches&#8217; Poll, as revealed by the conference office on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. The Bobcats received 52 total points in the poll, finishing behind Siena, Marist and Sacred Heart, respectively.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSenior\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/luca-cutolo\/15088\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Luca Cutolo<\/a>\u00a0and graduate student\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/mason-oak\/15109\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mason Oak<\/a>\u00a0were both selected for the Preseason All-MAAC Team, as well.&#13;<br \/>\n\tCutolo earns a spot on the Preseason All-MAAC squad at the defensive midfield position. He played in 13 games last year, scooping up seven ground balls and forcing a pair of caused turnovers. He also scooped up 18 ground balls during the 2024 campaign as a sophomore.&#13;<br \/>\n\tOak finds himself on the Preseason All-MAAC Team heading into his graduate campaign. The Bobcats&#8217; goalie was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 as a junior, making 15.4 saves per contest and tallying a 58.7% save percentage. Oak posted a 9-5 record during the 2024 season, registering double-digit save numbers in each game he played in. He followed up that effort with 12.93 saves per game last year in 2025 (ranked 9th\u00a0nationally). Oak tallied a 49.7% save percentage in front of the cage for the Bobcats a season ago.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>KEY RETURNERS<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Bobcats will return former MAAC Defensive Player of the Year\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/mason-oak\/15109\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mason Oak<\/a>\u00a0in front of the cage. Oak finished with 12.93 saves per game last year in 2025 (ranked 9th\u00a0nationally).&#13;<br \/>\n\tQuinnipiac also returns 10 of its top 11 scorers from a year ago \u2013 including both 40-point scorers:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/nate-watson\/15118\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nate Watson<\/a>\u00a0(45 points in 2025) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/justin-robbert\/15114\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Justin Robbert<\/a>\u00a0(44 points in 2025).&#13;<br \/>\n\tBoth\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/max-pauwels\/15110\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Max Pauwels<\/a>\u00a0(102 FO wins) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/frank-mousa\/15106\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Frank Mousa<\/a>\u00a0(40 FO wins) also return in the faceoff X for Quinnipiac.&#13;<br \/>\n\tEach of QU&#8217;s top four players in caused turnovers are also back to help anchor the defensive unit:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/ryan-downing\/15089\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ryan Downing<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/nick-meoni\/15104\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nick Meoni<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/tommy-andruzzi\/15082\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tommy Andruzzi<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/joe-konesco\/15101\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Konesco<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0&#13;<\/p>\n<p>THE 2026 SCHEDULE<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Bobcats&#8217; spring\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/news\/2025\/12\/10\/mens-lacrosse-poli-bobcats-reveal-2026-schedule\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2026 schedule was released<\/a>\u00a0back in early December. QU&#8217;s schedule features 14 games in total \u2013 with six contests set to be played at home in Hamden. Quinnipiac will open up the new season on the road, as the Bobcats will square off with UMass Lowell (2\/7\/26) for the first time since 2023.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>HEAD COACH MASON POLI<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/gobobcats.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\/roster\/coaches\/mason-poli\/9285\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mason Poli<\/a>, a former standout lacrosse player at Bryant University, enters his 12th\u00a0season on the Quinnipiac coaching staff in 2026. Poli completed his seventh season as Head Coach of the Bobcats in 2025.&#13;<br \/>\n\tAfter serving as an assistant for the Bobcats&#8217; program for four seasons (2015-18), Poli was elevated to Interim Head Coach for the 2019 season. He was then named\u00a0Men&#8217;s Lacrosse Head Coach on May 10, 2019, becoming the Bobcats&#8217; sixth head coach in program history and third at the Division I level.&#13;<br \/>\n\tQU has won 39\u00a0matchups in seven-plus seasons since Poli took over as Head Coach.&#13;<br \/>\n\tIn 2019 as Interim Head Coach, Poli led Quinnipiac men&#8217;s lacrosse to a 9-7 (5-2 MAAC) record and the program&#8217;s third-ever appearance in the MAAC Tournament championship contest.
