For the fourth consecutive year, Statista and\u00a0Newsweek\u00a0have partnered to identify the top fertility clinics in the US, this year awarding 140 fertility clinics. Only facilities defined as a fertility clinic and assisted reproductive technologies (ART) provider by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) were considered in the scope of this project. To create a ranking, a score was calculated for each clinic. The total score is based on four data sources: Quality metrics, reputation, accreditations and patient satisfaction.\u00a0<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0Quality Metrics:\u00a0Assisted Reproductive Technology metrics with a focus on indicators relevant to fertility clinics published by CDC were analyzed.\u00a0Data from the 2022 cycle were used because they represent the most recent fully reported and quality-assured dataset available from the CDC at the time of analysis. The Quality metrics contribute 40%\u00a0towards the overall score.<\/p>\n
2.\u00a0Nationwide online survey:\u00a0During the survey period from January to February 2026, Newsweek and Statista invited reproductive endocrinologists, infertility spe\u00adcialists, obstetricians\/gynecol\u00adogists working in and referring patients to fertility clinics, other medical professionals (e.g., registered nurses, laboratory assistants) and fertility clinic administrators\/managers working in fertility clinics to partici\u00adpate in the survey.\u00a0For each recommended fertility clinic, participants were asked to assess the quality of diagnosis of fertility problems, treatment of fertility problems, fertility counselling, accommodation & service, overall nurse staffing. The reputation of the clinic accounts for\u00a040%\u00a0of the overall score.<\/p>\n
3.\u00a0Accreditations:\u00a0Accreditation data on fertility clinics\u00a0provided by The Joint Commission (JCI), College of American Pathologists (CAP), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) were considered with a combined weight of\u00a015% of the overall score.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0Patient Satisfaction: Google reviews are included in the scoring model as a proxy of patient satisfaction. It contributes 5% towards the overall score.\u00a0<\/p>\n
