TOPEKA (KSNT<\/a>) \u2014 Fees at the Aggieville Parking Garage will temporarily be suspended as Moro Street construction begins in the Little Apple.<\/p>\n Manhattan city commissioners voted 5-0 to suspend parking hourly fees in an April 21 meeting in an effort to support business and district access at the garage located at 1318 West Laramie St. The city expects this to last through 2027 or 2028, or as long as construction on Moro Street is underway.<\/p>\n The decision by commissioners eliminates people needing to register with ParkMobile, nose-in parking in the garage and hourly fees. However, it adds a 48 hour time limit for drivers.<\/p>\n Commissioners also approved for parking spots to be repainted to wider, 90 degree stalls as drivers go up the garage and angled stalls on the way down to \u201callow for greater ease of use for the customer while parking and exiting the garage,\u201d according to a press release from the City of Manhattan.<\/p>\n Aggieville restaurant and bar to shut down <\/a><\/p>\n The changes approved on April 21 do not impact the Downtown Parking Garage in Manhattan.
