WILMINGTON, N.C. \u2014 Comedian Paula Poundstone will perform at the Brooklyn Arts Center in Wilmington on Thursday, Aug. 27.<\/p>\n
Poundstone tours nationally and hosts the podcast Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone. She is a regular panelist on NPR\u2019s Wait, Wait\u2026 Don\u2019t Tell Me. She voiced the character Forgetter Paula in Inside Out and Inside Out 2.<\/p>\n
She has recorded multiple HBO specials, including Cats, Cops and Stuff, which earned a CableACE Award for Best Comedy Special. She was the first female comic to host the White House Correspondents\u2019 Dinner.<\/p>\n
Poundstone has covered political events for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and appeared during the 93rd Emmy Awards. Poundstone has starred in two television series and released five comedy albums.<\/p>\n
