After some morning clouds and patchy fog, there will be plenty of sunshine through the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Temperatures will start out in the 30s to lower 40s, but under sunny skies, temperatures will warm back into the lower 60s for most.<\/p>\n

Some clouds may trickle back on Thursday evening into Friday morning. These clouds will not bring any rain. Instead, we look to stay dry through week’s end.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, skies will be partly cloudy. There could be some rain nearby. Most of the rain looks to stay west of the Capital Region, but areas south of Albany could see some showers to start the weekend.<\/p>\n

These schools are meant for children who have often struggled in traditional public-school settings.<\/p>\n

A local law passed Tuesday by the Ulster County Legislature establishes a stop-arm safety camera program to discourage drivers from illegally passing stopped school buses.<\/p>\n

3. New York lawmakers pass sixth state budget extender that runs through April 27<\/a><\/p>\n

The New York state Legislature on Wednesday passed a sixth state budget extender \u2014 now three weeks past the budget’s deadline.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a01 person dead in police chase in Johnstown, State Police say<\/a><\/p>\n

A police chase Wednesday morning in Johnstown ended with a head-on collision and one person dead, according to State Police.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0New York state lawmakers pass bill that would give incentives for buying electric lawn equipment<\/a><\/p>\n

The legislation, pushed by state Sen. Liz Krueger and State Assemblymember Steven Otis, would create a rebate program for the purchase of electric lawn care equipment by landscaping companies and government institutions like schools. It passed the state Assembly on Monday and the state Senate on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Zoning amendment that limits affordable housing requirements approved by Albany Common Council<\/a><\/p>\n

The changes are tied to a housing policy proposal Mayor Dorcey Applyrs announced in February that would reduce the amount of affordable housing required in new construction.<\/p>\n
