The ferry, which will operate for 24 games throughout season, will make its maiden voyage April 25 for the team’s matchup against the Colorado Rockies.

Each ride will take approximately 75 minutes one way and cost voyagers either $80 or $85 round-trip. The boats — operated by ferry company Seastreak — will leave from Stamford’s ferry terminal and dock at the World’s Fair Marina, the Mets said.

The ferry service also allows fans to pay between $140 and $334, depending on the game, to add a ballgame ticket onto their boat fare.

Seastreak did not immediately respond to CT Insider’s request for comment on ticket sales for the ferry’s first weekend embarking from Connecticut.

The dozen consecutive losses marked the Mets’ longest losing streak since 2002, according to the MLB. The Mets’ longest losing streak in franchise history was 17 games during the 1962 season.

Currently, the Mets rank eighth in the MLB for game attendance so far in 2026. An average of 36,423 fans have attended the 2026 Mets’ home games at Citi Field, according to ESPN.

In 2025, the team ranked fifth in the MLB for game attendance, with an average of 39,775 fans attending its home games throughout the season.

Earlier this month, Greenwich resident and Mets owner Steve Cohen shared a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, commenting on the amount of “no shows” from a free ticket offer the Mets provided to fans.

The team offered fans complimentary tickets to the Mets’ matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Cohen said in his post that despite the free ticket giveaway being “fully subscribed within hours,” 58% of fans who received free tickets did not show up even with the ticket offer.

The ferry, which will operate for 24 games throughout season, will make its maiden voyage April 25 for…

[8
36184,9,24,55,54,56
post-207158","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-york-city","tag-all-ct-sites","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-city","tag-new-york-city-headlines","tag-new-york-city-news","tag-ny
["GET
