Expect free kids\u2019 activities, outdoor dining, and community events running through the summer. Mark your calendar for Discover Columbia PL on Saturday, April 25 from 11am\u20135pm \u2014 the annual Open Streets celebration featuring local vendors Cloudy Donut, Laundry &amp; Latte, Nako, and River Deli, plus stoop sales, a Willowtown Tree Walk, garden cleanup, dog run activities, and live performances by the Brooklyn Heights Players. Willowtown neighbors can reserve a free stoop sale space at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.willowtown.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">willowtown.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Boerum Hill: Hoyt Street<\/p>\n<p>Fridays, 6pm\u201311pm &amp; Weekends, 11am\u201311pm | Hoyt Street between State St and Atlantic Ave | Starting April 24 | FREE<\/p>\n<p>The Atlantic Avenue BID\u2019s Hoyt Open Streets is back for another season of free outdoor programming, including fitness classes, live music, read-alouds, and Splish Splash Saturdays in the summer. One of the liveliest Open Streets in Brooklyn \u2014 worth the visit even if you don\u2019t live in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Downtown Brooklyn: Willoughby Street<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u2013Friday, 7am\u20135pm | Willoughby Street between Pearl St and Jay St<\/p>\n<p>A weekday Open Street in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn, creating pedestrian-friendly space near MetroTech and City Point.<\/p>\n<p>DUMBO: Washington Street<\/p>\n<p>Monday\u2013Saturday, 11am\u20139pm &amp; Sundays, 10am\u20139pm | Washington Street between Water St and Front St<\/p>\n<p>Washington Street\u2019s iconic Open Street \u2014 with that Manhattan Bridge view \u2014 returns for another year. Enjoy the scenery, and soak in one of the most photographed blocks in Brooklyn. It will be from 11am to 9pm Mondays to Saturdays and 10am to 9pm on Sundays. No DUMBO Family Games this year, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/brooklynbridgeparents.com\/outdoor-festivals-and-street-fairs-in-brooklyn-in-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">DUMBO Drop<\/a> is still on for May 29.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-75095\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/62A5C606-1044-4215-9288-27C06FECAFC1-scaled.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"497\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Williamsburg: Berry Street &amp; North 3rd Street<\/p>\n<p>Berry Street between Broadway and North 12th St | Daily<br \/>North 3rd Street between Berry St and Wythe Ave | Weekends, 10am\u201310pm<\/p>\n<p>Two connected Open Streets in the heart of Williamsburg \u2014 Berry Street runs daily, and North 3rd keeps the weekend energy going with programming near the waterfront.<\/p>\n<p>Greenpoint: Bedford Avenue<\/p>\n<p>Fridays 4pm \u2013 Sundays 10pm | Bedford Avenue between Nassau Ave and Manhattan Ave<\/p>\n<p>Greenpoint\u2019s stretch of Bedford goes car-free on weekends, running from Friday afternoon through Sunday night. A great spot for an evening stroll or weekend brunch al fresco.<\/p>\n<p>Park Slope: 5th Avenue<\/p>\n<p>Saturdays, May\u2013October (excluding August) | 5th Avenue from Union Street to 4th Street | Start date TBA \u2014 check back soon<\/p>\n<p>Park Slope\u2019s popular 5th Avenue Open Streets is expected to return for the 2026 season, with Saturday programming along the same expanded three-block stretch as last year. We\u2019re waiting on confirmed start dates from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parkslopeopenstreets.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Park Slope Open Streets<\/a>. This is the first year in four without cuts to season length or operating hours. Past programming has included live music, salsa dancing, Sprinkler Saturdays, and free bike riding lessons from Bike NY \u2014 expect more of the same, plus new benefits for local businesses and the community.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton Hill \/ Bed-Stuy: SaintJamesJoy Block Party<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, April 25 | 1:30\u20137:30pm | Saint James Place between Gates Ave and Greene Ave | FREE<\/p>\n<p>The beloved SaintJamesJoy block party celebrates its 6th anniversary with an afternoon of music, dance, and community on one of the most spirited blocks in the neighborhood.
