NEW YORK (1010 WINS) \u2014 The NYPD released photos on Thursday of two males wanted for violently robbing of a 13-year-old boy using a metal pole in Queens last week.<\/p>\n
It happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, near 153rd Street and 89th Avenue in Jamaica, officials said.<\/p>\n
According to police, the boy was approached by the two males when one began punching and kicking him while the second struck him with a metal pole before stealing his backpack and sneakers.<\/p>\n
The attackers fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. <\/p>\n
EMS transported the teen to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he remains in critical but stable condition.<\/p>\n
The first suspect was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black backpack.
