An Israeli tourist with ties to the IDF was left with a brain bleed Monday when a hate-filled stranger knocked off his yarmulke and slugged him in the face on the way to a Manhattan kosher deli, cops said.<\/p>\n

Rami Glikstein, 59, who was visiting from Jerusalem, was heading to Mr. Broadway \u2013 a well-known kosher deli on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue \u2013 around 12:40 p.m. when a complete stranger stormed up to him and snarled, \u201cWhat the f\u2013k is your religion?\u201d, according to police sources and the victim\u2019s own Facebook post<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The antisemitic attacker \u2013 who wore all black \u2013 grabbed Glikstein\u2019s yarmulke, tossed it on the ground and stepped on it before walking away, cops and sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hateful brute allegedly punched Glikstein in the face outside iconic kosher deli Mr. Broadway. Google Maps<\/p>\n

But the maniac wasn\u2019t done \u2013 moments later, he turned around and punched Glikstein in the face, sending him flying on the ground, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Glickstein is described by Jewish outlet Y Net Global <\/a>as an Israeli educator and lecturer in the IDF.<\/p>\n

The attack left him with a cut and bruising to his face \u2013 as well as internal brain bleeding \u2013 and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment, cops and sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But Glikstein said the hate-fueled attack won\u2019t discourage him from his original dining plans in the Big Apple.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Glikstein said the attack won\u2019t spoil his plans to dine at the iconic kosher eatery. Facebook\/Rami Glikstein<\/p>\n

\u201cThe attacker prevented me from entering the restaurant,\u201d he wrote in Hebrew. \u201cI won\u2019t let him and his intellect win. This evening I\u2019ll be back there despite my injury.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also shared a photo of himself lying in the hospital bed, with a bandage on his forehead.\u00a0<\/p>\n
