{"id":207686,"date":"2026-04-23T21:14:08","date_gmt":"2026-04-23T21:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/207686\/"},"modified":"2026-04-23T21:14:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T21:14:08","slug":"nyc-girl-brutally-stomped-by-teen-boy-after-refusing-his-advances-was-lucky-to-survive-distraught-mom-says-while-calling-for-justice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/207686\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC girl brutally stomped by teen boy after refusing his advances was lucky to survive, distraught mom says \u2014 while calling for justice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The horrified mother of a 15-year-old girl <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/23\/us-news\/sickening-video-shows-nyc-teen-stomp-on-girls-head-after-she-refused-to-give-him-her-number\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">viciously slammed to the ground and stomped on<\/a> by a teenage boy said the horrific caught-on-camera attack followed weeks of harassment \u2014 and nearly killed her daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Lucinda Arroyo told The Post that the 14-year-old bully \u2014 who has since been jailed on assault charges \u2014 goes to school with her daughter and had long been bugging her in a bid for attention, leaving the girl stunned when the harassment turned violent Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s very upset that her whole life has been completely flipped upside down right now,\u201d the devastated mom said \u2014 noting her daughter suffered a concussion, bleeding and a potential brain injury during the shocking beatdown on an East Harlem street.<\/p>\n<p>The girl\u2019s head was stomped on after she refused to give the teen boy her number. This is not even bullying, this is right on assault, and he could have killed her,\u201d Arroyo said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI look at her and it\u2019s a miracle that she\u2019s home. I\u2019m always watching her now, I have to watch her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DXdNaNckX73\/?igsh=MWlzeWx2bWp1MnEzcw%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Disturbing video spreading on social media<\/a> showed the masked brute confronting the girl at East 107th Street and Third Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Monday, just after school let out.<\/p>\n<p>The bully was arrested and charged with assault. Obtained by NY Post<\/p>\n<p>The boy is seen blocking her in the crosswalk and threatening to \u201cbeat the s\u2013t out of\u201d her as a friend appears to egg him on from behind the camera.<\/p>\n<p>When she tries to go around him, he grabs her from behind, lifts her up and slams her to the pavement, the video shows.<\/p>\n<p>The clip shows the girl lying helpless on the ground as the boy stomps on her head before walking away.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe video was passed around like entertainment, and that pissed me off the most,\u201d Arroyo said, adding that her daughter woke up in the ambulance after the attack and couldn\u2019t believe what had just unfolded.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tStart your day with all you need to know\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"inline-module__cta\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMorning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\tThanks for signing up!\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe just ran off and everybody\u2019s just recording, everybody\u2019s just looking at it while this was happening to her,\u201d the distraught mom said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s gotten in trouble before because it\u2019s a pattern, he\u2019s not going to stop.
