Cruz Beckham<\/a> appeared to reach out to his estranged older brother, Brooklyn Beckham<\/a>, in a touching social media moment featuring a throwback photo of the pair as children. The 21-year-old took to his Instagram Story to share the cute snap, which saw Cruz, Brooklyn and their brother Romeo<\/a> smiling widely for the camera in matching white shirts and jeans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although Cruz did not caption the family photo, it was clear that the musician<\/a> wanted to reminisce about their happy childhood. The subtle shout-out comes amid Brooklyn’s ongoing feud with his family<\/a>, which reached a fever pitch in January when he posted a damning statement explaining why he is estranged\u00a0from his parents.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old claimed in the statement that Victoria<\/a> and David Beckham<\/a> had been less than welcoming to his wife, Nicola Peltz<\/a>, when she first joined the family, and alleged that they tried to ruin his wedding day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one,” he wrote. “Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent\u00a0to the press on their orders.”<\/p>\n

“Even my brothers were sent\u00a0to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer,” he continued. “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards.\u00a0I have been controlled by my parents\u00a0for most of my life.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

When rumors\u00a0of a family feud were brewing in 2025, Cruz seemingly confirmed\u00a0it when\u00a0defending his parents\u00a0from\u00a0a social media user who claimed the Beckhams had blocked their son.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

“NOT TRUE. My mom and dad would never unfollow their son\u2026Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked\u2026as did I,” he wrote.\u00a0Despite Cruz’s disdain, he has extended an olive branch to Brooklyn on several occasions since the statement was released. In February, he shared a throwback photo of himself, Brooklyn and Romeo hugging and smiling for the camera as kids.<\/p>\n

Then, in March, Cruz posted a picture of Brooklyn holding him as a baby, with the caption:\u00a0“I love you”\u00a0alongside\u00a0a party emoji to commemorate his brother’s birthday.\u00a0When asked by paparazzi in the same month if the family feud would come to an end, he replied: “I hope so”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although the Beckhams have remained tight-lipped about their estranged son since the statement was released\u00a0in January, Victoria opened up about how the family were faring in an interview with\u00a0Today with Jenna & Sheinelle<\/a>\u00a0in April.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When asked by Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> how she and David worked through tough times together, she replied: “Myself and David, we’re so close, and we have incredible people around us.”<\/p>\n

“We’re close to my parents and David’s parents. We support each other through everything that we do,” Victoria said. “We always put our children first.
