Tony winner Betty Buckley<\/a>, who returns to Joe’s Pub April 24\u201326<\/a> for her annual engagement at the intimate cabaret within the Public Theater, also\u00a0debuts the first single from her upcoming album April 24.<\/p>\n

Entitled “Enough,” the song was penned by Grammy winner and Broadway actress Sara Bareilles<\/a> (Waitress<\/a>). The single (a pairing “Enough” and the instrumental “Gentle by Nature”)\u00a0can be streamed by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSara Bareilles has written a beautiful song \u2018Enough,\u2019\u201d says Buckley in a statement. \u201cIt’s from her new musical The Interestings, set to premiere in 2027<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The single serves as the title track from Buckley\u2019s forthcoming album,\u00a0Enough, which will be released July 17\u00a0by Palmetto Records.\u00a0Enough marks Buckley\u2019s 19th album and was recorded live at her Joe\u2019s Pub residency in 2025.\u00a0To pre-save the upcoming album across digital platforms, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\tTexas native Buckley, who starred as Dolly
\n Gallagher Levi in the national tour of the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly!, won her Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella in Andrew Lloyd Webber<\/a>‘s Cats<\/a>, later earning another nomination for her work in the musical Triumph of Love<\/a>. She starred in both the London and New York productions of Sunset Boulevard<\/a>, earning
\n an Olivier nomination for her take on the ill-fated silent-screen star
\nNorma Desmond. London audiences have also enjoyed Buckley’s work in Promises, Promises and Dear World, and her other Broadway credits include Carrie<\/a>, Song & Dance, The Mystery of Edwin Drood<\/a>, 1776<\/a>, and Promises, Promises.<\/p>\n

A 2012 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee,\u00a0the
\n 2017 recipient of the
\nJulie Harris Award from The Actors Fund for Artistic Achievement, and
\nthe Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from the American Songbook
\nAssociation in 2023,\u00a0Buckley’s most recent screen credits include By Design, Eternity,\u00a0Imaginary, Split, Law & Order:
\n Special Victims Unit, The Cleaning Lady, Supergirl, The Film Crew,
\nPreacher, Chicago Med, The Leftovers, Getting On, Pretty Little Liars, and The Happening.
\n She has been awarded two honorary doctorates of fine arts for her
\ncontribution to the musical theatre by Marymount College and the Boston
\nConservatory of Music.<\/p>\n

The Mayfly, an animated short
\nfilm written, produced, and narrated by Buckley played the film festival
\n circuit and won several awards in 2024, including Best of Festival,
\nBest Director, and Best 2D Character Based Animation at The Los Angeles
\nAnimation Festival. The film also won Best Animation at The Lady
