Montecito is getting a New York-based luxury clothing brand soon.<\/p>\n
La Ligne is coming to Montecito Country Mart, the shopping center announced on its website. The clothing brand is set to take over the former Malia Mills space at 1026D Coast Village Road.<\/p>\n
According to Montecito County Mart, La Ligne will bring its signature striped styles. However, an opening date is yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

La Ligne was founded in 2016 by Vogue editors Valerie Macaulay, Meredith Melling, and Molly Howard, La Ligne has eight locations across the country. The clothing brand is known to offer luxury wardrobe staples<\/a> that are built around its signature striped aesthetic.<\/p>\n La Ligne currently offers knitwear, dresses, denim, tailoring and accessories. Its styles are focused on classic, effortless and timeless dressing.<\/p>\n Montecito will be the brand\u2019s ninth location. It currently has presence in New York City, Greenwich, Charleston, Dallas, Nashville, Palm Beach and Houston, with Montecito set to become its ninth.<\/p>\n Montecito County Mart Post Office Stays<\/p>\n The development comes as the Montecito Country Mart announced the United States Postal Service has reversed its decision to shut down the Montecito Country Mart Post Office. The decision was reversed after the community launched a petition urging USPS to reconsider the closure.<\/p>\n Petitioner noted that the post office remained vital for elderly residents, people with limited mobility and small businesses that rely on convenient mailing and shipping services.<\/p>\n The community noted that it sought to preserve longtime community service that has operated there for more than 40 years.<\/p>\n
