The winner was F\u00e1tima Bosch of Mexico.<\/p>\n Hern\u00e1ndez\u2019s elegance, runway skills and charm won over missologists\u2014social media influencers who focus on covering pageants and beauty queens\u2014 who said Hern\u00e1ndez didn\u2019t advance further because she did not specifically represent a single country.<\/p>\n The Dominican entered the pageant after winning Miss Universe Latina, the reality show on Telemundo, which selected a beauty queen to represent Latinos in the United States.<\/p>\n Born in La Vega in the central region of the Dominican Republic, Hern\u00e1ndez moved to the United States at age 13 and now lives in New Jersey.<\/p>\n With a degree in communication, she twice competed for the Miss Rep\u00fablica Dominicana title and was first runner-up in 2023.
