He was a second team All American last year with 61 tackles, 4 tackles for loss and two interceptions. He is a tenacious, aggressive, extremely talented cornerback who projects best as a slot cornerback. He may, however, play outside if his crazy vertical can make up for his lack of length.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Ponds should see immediate playing time either in the slot or at outside cornerback for the Jets.
