Colton Eubanks vs Manhattan<\/p>\n
Emporia High baseball dropped game one of the doubleheader against Manhattan, but salvaged game two with a walk off win at Soden\u2019s Grove on Friday.<\/p>\n
Manhattan picked up the game one win 13-2.<\/p>\n
The Indians scored three in the second and third to build a commanding lead. They added an additional run in the fifth. The Black and Red got two back in the sixth. Luke Marshall doubled in Micah Gray and Marshall scored on a sac fly Grady Howe.<\/p>\n
EHS manged five hits and Gray accounted for three of them.<\/p>\n
Gray took the loss on the mound. He surrendered six runs in four innings.<\/p>\n
Emporia needed eight innings in game two for the 3-2 victory.<\/p>\n
Both teams scored once in the first.\u00a0 EHS used an Oliver Kline leadoff double and a sacrifice fly from Chase Harrington to tie it up.\u00a0 The Indians took the advantage back in the third and the Spartans tied it in the fourth.\u00a0 Howe singled in a run to draw it at two.\u00a0 Neither team scored until the bottom of the eight when Emporia loaded up the bases and Harrington drove in his second RBI on a sac fly in the game.<\/p>\n
Colton Eubanks earned the win in seven and two-third innings with nine punchouts.\u00a0 He credited his off-speed pitch for the strong night.<\/p>\n
