Kailey Sweet, the president of United Cultural Connection, said the best part is the community coming together.

“So I feel like there’s a gap between our regular business networking after hours or events and then the cultural events,” she said. “Our whole goal with not-for-profit is really to bridge that gap and to bring everyone together under one roof; everyone feels welcome, everyone can learn a little, grow a little, try some new food.”

As for future plans, Sweet said the nonprofit plans on collaborating with other nonprofits to hold community events.

UTICA, N.Y. — Thursday night, the United Cultural Connection brought culture, food and traditions from all over the…

[6
83356,2702,17,14292,69524,25527,9,11,10,49,51,50,55309,28929,83357,83355
post-210852","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-york","tag-bosnian","tag-connection","tag-culture","tag-diversity","tag-henna","tag-italian","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-headlines","tag-new-york-news","tag-new-york-state","tag-new-york-state-headlines","tag-new-york-state-news","tag-spanish","tag-traditions","tag-ukrainian","tag-united-cultural-connection
["GET
