Google Maps<\/p>\n<p>The crazed driver continued his violent spree about 10 minutes later at 85th Avenue and 87th Street \u2013 this time hopping out of the Mercedes, storming up to a 33-year-old man on foot, punching him in the face and trying to snatch his chain off his neck, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When a 66-year-old man stepped in to stop the robbery, the suspect turned on him \u2013 punching him multiple times in the face before getting back in the van and driving off, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The initial robbery victim refused medical attention at the scene, while the good Samaritan was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>About a minute later, the menace \u2013 now back on foot again \u2013 ambushed his next target, a 75-year-old man, at 85th Road and 87th Street, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The menace pummeled the senior in the head before getting back behind the wheel of his van and driving off, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39214314\" width=\"590\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/crop-39214227_57f9c8.jpg\" alt=\"A general view of police line do not cross tape or police tape or crime scene tape at the scene of a police involved shooting in New York, NY as seen on November 13, 2025.\" class=\"wp-image-39214314\"  \/>The deranged driver\u2019s rampage came to an end when police arrested him at 85th Road and 87th Street, cops said.
