\n District Court for the
\n Southern District of New York
\n on September 13, a series of
\n detention or bond proceeding
\n were held by Magistrate Stuart
\n D. Aaron on defendants charges
\n in the same indictment with
\n crack sales on 194th Street in
\n the Bronx. Inner City Press
\n was there, the only media in
\n the Mag Court.<\/p>\n
In each case the
\n Assistant US Attorney asked
\n for detention, noting they
\n were presumption cases. But
\n the safety valve might be
\n available, defense counsel
\n countered.<\/p>\n
The case is
\n assigned to new SDNY District
\n Judge Jennifer L. Rochon,
\n before whom a proceeding has
\n been scheduled for September
\n 22. (There is no time set yet,
\n the AUSA said, it is just a
\n place holder).<\/p>\n
\u00a0Magistrate
\n Judge Aaron remarked that it
\n shows difference between the
\n Federal and New York State
\n systems, with Adjourned in
\n Contemplation of Dismissal
\n dispositions for crack sales.<\/p>\n
Jump cut all the
\n way to April 27, 2026, when a
\n guilty plea by the lead named
\n defendant was moved at
\n counsel’s request from April
\n 29 to May 12 at 12:30 pm.<\/p>\n
The overall case
\n is US v. Boyd, et al.,
\n 22-cr-468 (Rochon).<\/p>\n
